Would an original outdoorsman be welcome in this company?
It is a proto-ranger of sorts, after all.

I might even break out one of my Camping logo ones for it  We might try it around the first or 2nd month of the new year :tu: Or perhaps a middleman type badge for 4-6 layer SAKs :o

One and two layer SAKs can get the minimalist badge....
Where does that leave three layer unmodded SAKs?
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Minimalist, Midlman, Stack.
1-2, 3-6, 7+.
Kinda seems unbalanced from a purely numerical point of view?
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

4-6 layer sounded better and if minimalist was 1-3 then we would be better off

I see lots of tools right there.  ::)

I think the three layer could be considered as minimalist, depending on the tools.

The Pioneer and Farmer would count in my mind, tho the Pioneer X or Super Tinker might not, while the Climber and Camper are allowed, so :dunno:

Certainly, my +B Yeoman seems like a mixed-up middle ground,  with scissors and magnifying lens,  but then it lacks an awl and pen blade and has only one regular and one Phillips driver (not counting the eyeglass driver), compared with the three sizes of drivers on the Ranger and that plus a Phillips on the Master Craftsman.

1-2 layers: Minimalist
3-4: Scout
5-6: Layer Cake
7-8: Stack

Cybertool S is three layers, but goes in Stack. Let's ignore that for now.

This has got me thinking... The Mini Pabsman is three layers, but I bet that more than one person here would say that it's not very useful by itself.
(Don't worry, I won't be insulted.  )
Compared to say.... a Compact.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)
