well i understand ( a bit ) those who collect mt´s,but i couldnt afford to that game ever.so ill just stick to my tiny collections consisting of stuff i use,and only few ones that i wont use.

and field testing sure is fun.tools like to be tooled.

I had a bit of a Stalin like purge, now I only have a PST II, Juice XE6, Bear Jaws, and a Vic Sprit, along with a few SAKS.

those friggin Suspensions should be outlawed,or marketed as toys(including soft pliers and dull blade already from factory).its mean from gerber to advertise those with american flags wavin in the background and with pics of soldiers posin with those.....like anyone would trust that POS in that harsh situations.i bet someone,who has held in his hands before,only a pen and his private part,would take  it as a decent tool .

i dont mean to ruin your day but dont take that one with you on that life-long vacation on deserted island.
or maybe some birds with an eye for shiny things can change some eggs for it.

i broked the jaws of my suspensions as i was just grabbin a rounded 3/8" bolt with it,it just bends first(pliers i mean,suspension doe not bend short 3/8" bolts),then it cracked.before it i had the screwdrivers of it,ruined.
thats why i dont like suspensions at all.and im afraid of any gerber ,but maybe in few days my worst nightmares are settlin down .But if you like yours,its good.

It still is not all the Gerbers. Just the Suspension line of tools. Every tool out there has a achilies heel unfortunatly the suspension line is mostly just heel.

I actually quite like my Suspension  OK, it was a gift from my kids, but I actually do use it quite a bit - the scissors mostly and the springy pliers.

I don't (and won't) do anything heavy with it, but it's quite cool actually
