The hardest LM to reassemble
on: August 24, 2016, 06:36:50 PM
I taken apart very LM tools I had my hands on, and I enjoy messing with them.

The one tool that I hate to work on is.  ...... Style CS/PS.

It might look simple, but the back springs are so strong and the parts are so small, absolutely a bitch to put back together.

Took me over an hour just to put on handle back, parts flew everywhere and my fingers hurt like hell.

Been there, done that.

Also the Squirt PS4, but I have the original one, before the rivets, the one with the torx screws.

Absolutely agree. Adding a Key instead of a knife blade in my Style CS was absolutely ridiculous. I usually put a driver in the bench vise to hold the post, which allows both hands to open the springs and force the post through.

Was it my "fault" you did the key swap? ;)

I had that setup some 4-5 years ago

My PS4 and Style versions of it.

The key mod was originally done on a Micra, but I don't remember by whom anymore. I did it when the scissors on my PS4 broke. ::)

Yeah, it is. There was a way to do it relatively easy, but as I haven't had it apart for years, I forgot how that goes.
