Time lord level 1 request
on: August 26, 2016, 02:10:04 PM
My EDC watch bought a week ago. Casio g-shock Mudman G-9300-1 ER

I have nato strap adapters and straps on the way as I'm not a fan of the current rubber one. It's either to tight or to slack.

Thank you.

The compass is about as acurate as the one on my phone when I compared them, so not to bad.  I bought it more for the ruggedness and how water proof it is. The moon phase indicator and moon age is a nice little feature too.

Once I get the nato strap adapters so I can fit a nice comfy strap to it, it will be perfect for me. I don't like the rubber strap that's on it, I find it uncomfy and it's either to tight or to slack. The nato/zulu straps arrived yesterday so the adapters can't be far away.

I have the same issue with my Pebble.  One notch feels like my hand is going to turn purple, the next makes it fell like the watch will fall off.

That is a great looking Mudman though.  I love the compass feature!

You could always swap your pebble to a nato...

or 2 piece nato seeing as it's a smart watch and will need charging http://www.clockworksynergy.com/shop/product-category/tech-straps/watch-straps-for-pebble/pebble-watch/?filtering=1&filter_nato-style=2-piece

I've bought JaysandKays nato adapters for mine so I can fit webbing straps. The straps are here but no adapters yet.

The one thing they have that cought my eye earlier are those bullbars! Funny thing is they have them on Amazon and eBay for the same price, yet under etsy there $3 cheaper..

As heavy as that mudman is I don't think it really needs one but I also have a gw-6900 and think it would go nice but another thing I really don't need..

My nato strap adapters arrived today. Only took 5 mins to fit them. The screws are so much easier than spring bars.

Very comfy and with the smaller hole spacing it adjusts just right for my wrist
