As I said, I’m back with the SI. The PX is here with me for tonight. I haven’t felt the need  (or the heft) for it so I’m sure the SI and I are a team again!

Yeah. The PX is great, it’s just too bulky feeling in my pocket. It’s weird but it feels bulkier than my Buck110!!!

The SI is just right. All the knife I usually need at work and can handle a few screws along the way.

I am going to remove the bail and stick on one of those Nite Ize Hip Clips. But I want to do some grinding on the clip first, to taper it to match the profile of the SI better.

The pic below is on my PX after I tried blackening the clip with a marker. Haha.  Didn’t hold up well.

But you can see how the squareness of the clip doesn’t quite mesh with the roundness of the Pioneer.

SAKMC is tough!  I might just carry this blue Pioneer for a bit. I used 3M adhesive strip to attach a P7 clone as a pocket clip. Seems to work ok.

The previous owner removed the key ring nub. Sold it super cheap because he got into the blue anodize. Doesn’t bother me at all!!!  Haha!!

I have carried the Swiss Champ for so many years that I never notice it is there . Right now I'm carrying it using a Vic belt hanger clip. I love this way of carry, keeps the knife in perfect position & out of the way for getting to the other stuff in my pocket.
This go around of sending them in for repair showed me that there really is no other knife for me. Nearly everything else feels so small that even the field master, I got is a sawed off half pint. The true king of pocket knives, Vic Champ

I know, it’s so hard to stay with just one!!!  Haha!!!

Since the Wengers are harder to come by, I’ll probably start carrying the blue Pioneer. It’s different and I still have black and silver Pioneers as back ups. LOL

Ah heck, I might just have to bow out of the club. Either that or start selling all but my SI!!  Haha!!

That looks really nice, I think. Seems more low profile than the nite eyez.

Can you share where you got the clip and which specific 3M adhesive you used?

It’s a P7 clone I got from eBay. Search for Tec P-7 suspension clip.

The adhesive I used is 3M VHB. You can get it in strips or rolls and just trim to size.

Started carrying it tonight. See how it goes. I am more worried about it falling out of my pocket than the tape holding.
