Is that a custom knife? I really like the 2 openers on one side opposite the inline Phillips.

Thanks. I have to agree. Great little EDC design. The Urban X has turned out to be my favorite road-trippin' SAK.   :tu:

Is the UX the same width as the PX?

 Just going from memory here....it might be a tad wider.  :dunno:  I'll try to get you some caliper readings a little later.  :tu:

Sometimes guys disappear for a month or two, but it's always a bit concerning.

I was just curious if there is a significant difference. The PX is about as wide as I want to carry. If the UX is pretty much the same, I might have to start saving up to commission one. LOL

He replied two days ago in his Happy Birthday thread. So he must just be really busy.

Of course the battery on my calipers is dead.....

But, from the scale on the calipers:

Pioneer X: 15mm thick

Urban X: 16.5mm thick (give or take a few 100ths of a mm).

In the hand, the Pioneer X is definitely thinner. In the pocket....not so much.

As I reported earlier, the UX is a great road-trip knife. I typically EDC 2-3 layer SAK's, and the UX is as easy to pocket carry as any. If you comfortably carry the PX, I think a UX would fit you well.  :tu:

Wow... your UX is sweet Nix...twiins...

I forgot the exact measurements but is definitely thicker than the PX... but is thinner than a Yeoman... and 0.2mm thinner than a farmer X...

:iagree: with Nix... Definitely pocket friendly for me... and sturdier than a 91mm...
