You may regret that request. ;)

Of all the instruments I dabble in, I find harmonica the most challenging. It's fair to say I pretty well suck at it

Z Unit checking in...

While I do enjoy looking at other Vic’s and Wengers, the SI is my final choice.  This is what I will carry nearly every day.   The bail, the awl... just the way the alox feels in my hand. Truly perfection.

I have a few other Alox units that I might tinker with here n there, but the Wenger SI is my all time favorite.

I saw a pic of a guys alox that he’s carried everyday for over 15 years. It was worn smooth in places.

That’s my goal. To carry this till it falls apart!

If you plan on it being used until it falls apart, you may want to add it to your will. I think these things could outlive us! ;)

And I'm working on carrying mine until it's worn smooth. 6 years down, probably another 10 or so to go...

No Martin cup...yet!

Actually, I'd been on the hunt for a Gibson uke for a long time, but they didn't make as many of them as Martin did (Martin made tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands). Plus Gibson never made a concert size. I just happened upon my Martin on consignment in a music store in Columbus, OH and it was an instant buy. Up until that point, I wouldn't have considered a Martin anything, mainly because they just weren't on my radar (because I'm not really a fan of their guitars). But, you can't argue with tone, and my uke sounds amazing

Z Unit checking in. Spending another afternoon in the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital while my son gets his four hour IV infusion of his meds for his Crohns Disease.

Makes for a long day. But the meds seem to be working. This is his second dose. First was two weeks ago and he’s been eating like a damn horse since!!!  Haha!!!

Thanks folks!  He is doing well on this new medication. Really sad thing is he’ll most likely have to take some form of meds for the rest of his life. He turns 17 on Friday so that’s (hopefully!!!!!) a loooong time!!

I did get him going on SAKs. Gave him my Compact couple years ago. He loves it!!  Sometimes he carries it around the house with him. I also left my Hercules in the center console of his Corolla. Just in case...
