As the fishing season has just started I decided to have a look back through last season's pictures. I came across this one of my Kelly Kettle and my Swisschamp that I had just used to cut down some wood for the fire bucket.
It remained a fish-less day on the Wiltshire Avon but the fact that the trout remained under the water and my net empty seemed to be immaterial when I was in such beautiful surroundings.
