Wow Mac ! Nice family of colors  :salute:

Yes, very nice.

Im not a collector at all, and I'm  a die hard red SAK guy, but these Classics make me want to open an exception...
However,  to buy a whole  lot like this it would be pretty penny

The more I peruse this forum, the more I realize... I have more SAKs than I realized.  I forget that I keep this one in my office desk.  I bought it because it "looked cool".  I use it more than I thought I would as I use it to cut away my dry cuticles that end up catching on stuff.  It's easier than trying to rip them off with my fingers.

My daughter would love the assortment of colors you have there.  I wish they made the translucent pink scales in 91mm so I could mod a tinker for her when she's older.

Hi Tex,
You are going to try some mods, right?  Might be able to find some nice pink G10 or something.  Can't buy the knife you want?  Make it yourself.  I saw you had some 58mm that needed some scales.  That's a nice place to start with your SAK mod hobby.  Try some wood, plastic, laminate, whatever you want.  Got to try something to gain some skill.  You might decide you want to do something else?  Best wishes.  Gary

I didn't even think of pink G10.  That's a good idea.

I was going to "practice" on those 58mm first as they were pretty sorry when I first got them.  One of them was really stuck but after 2 baths in a sonic cleaner and a good soak in mineral oil, it's back to being fully operational.  Almost as snappy as when new.

I haven't posted a small SAK for a while.  This is the one I am carrying on the Mini challenge.  Might as well throw in the last Fall leaves shot for the year.  All the rest are lying on the ground.  Best wishes. Gary   :(

Just got another Rambler to replace the one I lost to a security checkpoint at a festival. I wouldn't be so aggravated if I hadn't just gotten it back from being serviced at Victorinox. Here's the new one hanging out with an LL Bean Classic and an Ambassador.

I'd love to get some different colored scales for the Rambler, but I haven't had much luck finding ones I liked that weren't already on a Classic.

Me too. I've been tempted to grab another one as a backup, but it looks like that one is out of production now.

Well, I liked those LL Bean scales so much that I went ahead and switched them over to my Rambler. A couple drops of glue, and they feel solid as a rock.

Thank ya! They really have worn well over the years. I'm impressed that the printing has hardly any wear on it.
