Now that Fall and Winter are upon us, maybe time for a Classic or Exec in the jeans watch pocket?

There's always an Executive in my watch pocket, no matter what else I'm carrying. It's my favorite SAK.

I haven't posted a little SAK in some time.  One thing and another.  Best wishes.  G

Sal, look at me, this is serious. Does it really need to be a particular time of year to carry a small SAK?

 I wasn't feeling well, hallucinated about giant Benchmades!
My GITD Classic is on my key ring at all times.

Okay, you're forgiven, but you'll be on double secret probation for a while. Every time you think of Benchmades, close your eyes and click your heels together and repeat three times; "There's nothing like a SAK"

Yes, the Christy is the sole exception to my non SAK program. The classic and a Christmas often a carry for both old times sake, and the fact that the Chrsity is a great plastic blister package opener and twine cutter. It often takes over for impromptu food duty like when we were down at a BBQ in Austin, and the rack of ribs needed to be cut into individual robs for sharing. The little blade of the 58mm was not up to the job, but the Christy made short work of the ribs. It was easy to take apart later for cleaning and some light lube.

...Short Ribs?

Naaa, This was at Black's BBQ in downtown Austin. They serve up beef ribs that each one is like a ribeye steak. I cut each rib loose for passing lout to the family that was with us. Soooo tender you can suck the meat off the bone!

The Christy knife had just enough reach to do the job. It had to, my better half had taken her Victorinox folding paring knife out of her purse for cleaning, and forgot it back home in Georgetown. The plastic knives there were too flimsy for the job.

I love my Alox Minichamp but why didn't they include it with the Nail-file with a screwdriver tip

SwissLite & some Classic SD have this even Alox Classic SD so they could add this to MiniChamp too!

The Minichamp has the screwdriver tip on the ruler so you can have both the screwdriver and the nail cleaner tip.

Obviously Mrs. R has great taste. I'd make up a little leather pouch sheath to go on the keyring to keep that little beauty from being beat up by keys or whatever. Also makes it easier to use just pulling it out of sheath with no keyring attached.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
