May move up just a bit to the Waiter?
I have, I believe, is the Secretary ? - blade and nail file, no T&T, exposed little rivets.
One size up from Classic.
Let me check the Wiki....

I just ordered three new Classic SD's. They have different Sasquatch scales.

There are several 58mm scattered about here.  Lots of colors, but only two reds.  This little Rally is one of them.  Bought it from a friend at a flea market for $1.
Once he had an old KampKing of some sort.  No paint on the handles, or whatever they colored them black with.  Maybe celluloid at one time.
Bare metal with, let's call it patina.   He handed it to me and priced it at $1.  I said, nyaa.  He said give me a quarter.  I handed it back to him.  Didn't want the old relic.  He said, "It's just a good old knife."  Then he said, "I'll sell it for a quarter and lend you the quarter."
     Happier times.  Best wishes.  G

I’ve been carrying just an Alox MC since the MacGyver challenge and I’ve got to say it’s a nice change of pace to carry something so lightweight and somewhat minimalist.

It handles 95% of most tasks with ease so I’ve been keeping my SwissTool MX in the car. We will see how long I keep this up lol

Cheers little SAKers

For 58mms, I started with a Cavalier in the mid 90s and carried it for a few years until I managed to bend the blade backwards enough that it would no longer close.

I swapped it for a 1st gen MiniChamp, then to my current 2nd gen MiniChamp, modded into a MiniChamp "Plus".

I also have a couple of Ramblers in strategic places around the house for quick access to the mini Phillips if I don't have the MiniChamp with me.
SAKs:
58mm: Bijou (3), Classic SD (7), Mini Champ Plus (mod), Alox Classic SD, Rambler (3), Companion
65mm: Wenger Esquire
74mm: Executive (2)
85mm: Traveler, Delemont S10, Bass
91mm: Champion "c", Swiss Champ (4), Explorer (3), Deluxe Tinker, Huntsman, Serrated Spartan/Weekender, Explorer Plus, Deluxe Explorer Plus (mod), Outdoorsman Plus, Champion "a", Champion Plus, Timekeeper Alarm, Golfer
93mm: Pioneer Alox

I hadn't seen that novel 'double-decker' stack sort of scale on a MiniChamp before.  Might need another picture of that from the side if it wouldn't be too much trouble?  I did the MiniChamp challenge twice and the inaugural Classic challenge.  Other than that, I never really carried a 58mm.  I keep two Bijoux in my compooter desk.  I use them to fingernail fix every day.  Why two?  I dunno.

I have a Rambler on my "backup" keychain, a long with a Craftsman 4 way screwdriver.  I like the 58mm SAKs.  You can get by very well with one and a small pliers tool like the Dime.

If I’m being completely honest about it, I reach for my Rambler first, most of the times I need a SAK for something.

And when I do reach for whichever 91mm is in my pocket that day, it’s rarely for the knife blade. It’s usually because I need some other tool the Ramer doesn’t have.

YES!

The 58mm's attached to your keys is among sure its impossible to leave home without you SAK.

And Opinels! Oh gosh, nuthin, and I mean nuthin, cuts like an Opinel right off the stone. Scary sharp. The only Victorinox that is compatible is the florist knife. Train chisel grind that gets scary sharp like an Opinel.

A miniCHAMP, that has been in transit the last 11 days, touring NEW JERSEY, found its way to the Hoosier plains.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

My gosh it is tiny, but pack to the gills with implements!😱

My edc is a Celidor Vagabond, with a few of the same tools, plus  tweezers and toothpick.

Thought I will mix up my carry.

This does feel really really small 🙄   Lanyard thread next,,,

Soooo, for the past week and a half  we've been in California for family time visiting, and it's been interesting as usual. My duo of classic and Wenger SI have been good, but in truth the SI wasn't being used for much beside lunch meat and sandwich making at the beach. The classic has been the worker of the two, and opened uncounted packaging, and small repairs.

Over the past 20 years, I've developed a great appreciation of the 58mm SAK's. Unless you're a Hollywood action movie hero, or explorer of some far off hostile jungle like Indian Jones, the 58mm seems to work at most things you run into in an urban environment.
