 Sounds like me.  I just purchased a Workchamp last night, just when I thought I had it figured out with a Classic or Exec

I did put a PTC on my keychain, but it hasn't seen any use due to the 111 Challenge.  I'm looking forward to putting it through it's paces soon.

I carried my Executive around quite a bit lately. Pealed an orange with it yesterday....works great for that....

Filed my nails with it a good bit tonight....opening all these stuck knives lately has done a number on my scratchers....

Ok, ok. Maybe this has been addressed somewhere else.

But how in tarnation are we sposed to get replacement USB drives for our Victorinoxes? Naturally I won a couple that are missing their innards, and of course you can't find them anywhere.

It would seem that Vic&co. could make a small killing selling replacements. I mean, naturally, some people might use up their storage and want more of them? Never mind losing them, breaking them, etc.???

My daughter bought me the same one Xmas 2019. It's on me everyday, on my night stand at night. I work steady nights. So the flashlights helps me get to bed without stumbling and waking my Mrs. Great companion tool, or on its own. I even sliced off a piece of cheddar cheese with it recently.  And shockingly, Felix Immler stated recently that this is The one he EDCs in his house. All he needs !

Thats because Mr. Immler is a very smart man. And he knows that you never, but NEVER, under estimate a 58mm SAK. My wife taught me that about 1996 back when I thought the little 58's were  joke. The joke was on me.

I replaced a Vic USB with a standard USB, which I cut the case from. This was with the old "fatter" version.

Maybe you can do the same. Find a similar sized USB and attach it to your SAK.

See it here:

Similar to JTB’s query about usb , does anyone know where i can get spare LEDs and buttons in the UK? I can get the scales and was hoping to transform a dirt cheap rambler into a midnite manager but can’t find the electronics.

I think the little 58mm SAK's are like the Toyota Corolla's and Honda Civics and Bic pens of the knife world, and even the SAK world.

The pen guys all like things like Mont blancs, Parkers, Fisher space pens with all their hype. The car guys like the Porsche and other performance and prestige cars even if they are just commuting to work or running down to the local grocery store.

But how many of the worlds populace drive around in a Toyota or Honda and write checks with a Bic pen? The 58mm SAK classic is the worlds most mass produced pocket knife, and was even featured on the cover of a national knife magazine as the most confiscated knife at airports.  I can only wonder how many people who are not knife people, but do recognize the need for a small EDC cutting tool and carry a classic?

I wonder how many non knife people carry a classic, Or a rambler, or a mini champ or other 58mm variant of the mighty mini SAK?

I do know that the 20 plus years I carried a classic as an EDC, the things I fixed with it were many. That little SD nail file tip deals with Phillips screws very well, and lets you get "into" something to screw around with it and fix it.

I relayed a story when my Manager was pushed thinking it would break and ok with that.  It didn't and I pushed it hard that day.  I had carried it a while already but that day cemented the reliability and usefulness beyond its diminutive size.

Huge fan of the 58mm SAK.

I wonder the same.  As I've said before, I wonder where these... the most commonly mass produced knife.... end up.

A big contingent of backpackers, who are "non-knife" people, that will consider a knife on the same parameters as a backpacking stove or trekking poles... these folks always seem to choose a Classic
