Wallets....
on: September 01, 2016, 10:14:42 PM
Ive lost my wallet again   After having one Two of these ( as i lost the first ) i've decided i need a wallet that has a good strong chain on it.

Ideally id like RFID protection but if it doesnt i dont mind.

What are your recommendations and what is everyone else carrying?

I would of recommended a Saddleback, but they just increased their prices by about 60% so I would strongly advise against buying from them.

Sorry i'm just not to happy about what they did.  :D

As far as wallet recommendations go I don't have any now.

I'm carrying an ancient Eastpack wallet, that is at the edge of disintegrating. Few weeks ago I found plans of a DIY wallet but no matter how I printed out the layout, it never printed real-size. Either it was too large or too small. The result was failure and I surrendered to my printer... Pixels vs centimeters...  :surrender: :surrender:

I'm in the market for a new wallet as well. Thinking of making one out of Roo hide. Had a look at the saddleback wallets and like them. Will have to make one that looks like that.

Well started last night on my wallet design and templates. Finished it 10 min ago. What a job. Inside leather is kangaroo and outside cover is cow.

I haven't bought a wallet for ages...

But I'm now glad I bought a couple of SBL ones years ago. Their prices now are just insane and they remain my favourite wallets so far. I wouldn't have been able/wanted to pay this ridiculous amount of money for a wallet now.

I picked up a cheap card wallet / money clip from Amazon a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be working out OK. The money clip is detachable (and I find I'm detaching it - works well for me!

Not sure it's much use for Ryan though, possibly the opposite of what he's after  :-\

I have two saddlebacks, which I would recommend, but in your case I would recommend one of those leather ones with the chain that attaches to your belt so you don't lose it..

I would of recommended a Saddleback, but they just increased their prices by about 60% so I would strongly advise against buying from them.

Sorry i'm just not to happy about what they did.  :D

As far as wallet recommendations go I don't have any now.

Holy crap! I just checked and the prices have just about doubled!  >:(
