Well, those were just examples so... not the actual handle material or fluting I'd want. I just wanted a more comfortable grip, so the sunfish/elephant toes are too big? =oHow big are your hands? And I generally like 2-3 blades, 4 is too much for me. But I agree, 2 of the same at different sizes aren't too hot.
I had a Rough Rider Baby Sunfish and full sized Elephant toe. Both are very solid, heavy knives that feel more like an all steel multitool in your pocket than a regular folder. I ended up trading them both off, but the Elephant toe was very comfortable to work with because of the size of the handle. If I decided to EDC one I would probably want a belt pouch to carry it in. The Rough Rider Large Stockman ( ~4.25") is a lot of knife for the money, still fills the hand well but is a lot more versatile. My personal favorite slipjoint (SAKs excluded) is the Case 6292 Large (Texas) Jack. They aren't currently in production, but can easily be found on eBay for reasonable money. Roughly 4 inch OAL, one large pointy clip and one smaller pen, both CV steel and ground thin.
I like the Sunfish shape.
Chubby is the new ergonomic! Woohoo! Sure, when I get one...
Nah, too big
