Moose and Trapper finally crossed over into Oregon. Headed NW to Pendleton then west to the Columbia River.  Continuing west along the Columbia River to The Dalles. Taking the Barlow Road around Mt Hood and on to the Willamette Valley. They Finally made it. They take their leisure in Oregon for a bit. Deciding where to go next.
What? Enablers! Are you serrrrious? Where? I dont see any.

Nice shots guys!  :like:

I don't think they make Old Timers the way they used to do. I've got a nice, old, Old Timer around here somewhere. Has a Muskrat blade and a liner lock. I'll try to dig it out here soon.

But the newer ones don't seem to have the same steel. Or am I wrong (again) about that?

The new ones are made  in China, not sure what steel they use. There are plenty of old ones around on EBay for reasonable prices.

We actually had a match factory in our town for almost a 100 years.  The building is still in use, and is pretty impressive.
