Parts knife?
It was built towards the end of Queens Production. It's is 1095 with Delrin handles like Queen city but not stamped Queen City.
It wasn't unusual for Queen to make special runs with extra parts. It's a blade etch I haven't seen before. I haven't found a picture of it in their catalogs, Maybe it was a SFO.

Thanks Dean, I wasn’t even aware they had ceased production. When you said parts knife, my first thought was that you meant you were going to break it for parts. Assembled from leftovers was my second guess, but figured I'd better check

But... I don't speak acronym. What's SFO?  :D

Could be.  The knife weighs in at 3.6 oz  I don't notice the weight but I notice the thickness, so the result is it hasn't been carried much. The other two are a full layer thinner and have been carried quite a bit.
If it comes out nice I'll post up some process pics.
If it gets totaled I'll deny I ever did it.   :dunno:

That sounds interesting  :tu:

So are you going to build up the other layer as a separate knife?

I'll remove the pen and sheep blade along their spring. That will leave me a single blade jack knife with a clip blade.
I'm going to try and reuse the original scales.

I thought that was what you were going to do, buddy :tu: you should certainly have enough pin length remaining to do that after drilling one side. I just wondered what you were planning to do with the offcast layer

The offcast parts will wind up in a parts bin and forgotten about.
