Steve I might meet up with the chuck wagon. I'm heading out in the morn for the bad lands of Merriam KS.
Assuming I can figure out which knives to carry.  :dunno:

Not come to play here for too long! It's been a SAK for a long while.

It's almost perfect for me. I'd prefer the small blade to be a pen but otherwise, a perfect carry package for my daily usage.

Possum and Bull are headed north to meet up with Steve and Dean at the chuck wagon for some mountain oysters, 7 alarm chili and cowboy coffee. After chawin the fat with those two ringtailed tooters they plan to head out on the Santa Fe trails to parts west.

I'm noticing that the Possum is a fixture while the 2nd knife rotates. If they'd made that Possum in stainless with those micarta scales I would have bought one so fast it would have made my credit card go into shock.  :D

As far as GEC and stainless goes,  I think your credit card is safe.  :(

Yup I know, I had one of the last run they did in stainless pretty much, the Navy Knife.

Yes the Possum has been getting a lot of pocket time. There is a lot to like about it for me any way. If it was made in some modern stainless steel it would be even better.

Sweet!     :like:    How you liking it?

It's got nice bone covers and is in pretty good shape, only detractors is the main blade is pretty far off center.    It rubs the outer liner when closing. That and some deep scratches on the main blade but it's an honest old knife.
It's a cool old stockman and I got it for a steal so I'm not complaining   :tu:
