I got sick of the spotting on the blade so I gave it a vinegar patina, It turned out very even which gives it a nice dark grey with shades of blue.  :tu:

Mine is an even very light gray.
If i let a blade get dark they get vertical stipes from cutting.
Not a fan of striped blades.
