2014 Case/Carhartt Wharncliffe Mini Trapper in Earth Brown G-10 (for the Carhartt editions, it was called "Rugged Duck") and Tru-Sharp stainless steel.  I'm thinking G-10 will be my go-to scale material. Better looking and gripper than Delrin, while more abuse resistant than man-made materials (though I have been looking at bone and stag versions of several patterns).

Packin the 112 today

:like:  Looks really good with the finger grooves. I can't wait to start toting my older 112 (1970s) once it's sent off to Buck to get a new blade put in (dinged up pretty bad, and heavy sharpening wear on the current one). I'm wondering why Buck doesn't offer finger grooves on the LTs? The Bucklites did in the '80s.

That is bloody lovely. I'm seriously thinking about spending far too much money on a Calf Roper... Once the idea starts to itch in my little brain...
