I love your GECs. How often do you wipe the blade down? My favorite knife (#48 improved) I decided to let develop a nice patina with every day use. I have refrained from carrying my lockback because I don’t want to mess up the mirror finish. Maybe I just need to do the same thing I did with my 48.

I haven't had this one that long so no patina yet. Some of my GEC's  I forced a patina on because they were spotting. On others I just wipe down at the end of the day. The more polished the blade the less susceptible they are to spotting and patina. I polished the blade on my #78 Jack and it hasn't developed any  patina.
