For all that I love my Case knives and vintage pen knives, there's still a lot to be said for a good, inexpensive, Rough Rider.

Started off with a GEC Pemberton, but it didn't really cut it for me, so opted instead for another stockman - a #66...

(Image removed from quote.)
Shame the Pemberton wasn’t cutting it, it is a sweeeet looking knife.  Then again the Stockman looks pretty nice too

As usual, great trads from everyone!

I got this Camillus S1705 in yesterday's mail, and instantly loved the easy open feature.

For those that regularly carry a tradition knife, what is your carry preference? Do you just toss it in your pocket? Do you use a sheath? Or some other carry method?

I must admit to normally just dropping it in my front trousers' pocket along with my car fob and loose change.  :-[  If I want to particularly care for it I'll put it in a slip pouch.

When I was younger loose in the pocket. Nowadays each knife has its own slip before it goes into the pocket. Except if its going into my left front shirt pocket.    :D

As usual, great carries from awl! :tu:

Regarding carry methods: it used to be that I'd just toss any knife that didn't have a sheath in a pocket with other stuff. Now the knife is the only thing in a pocket. My yellow Sod Buster Jr sometimes rides in a sheath. Eventually I'll have slips for every trad I carry.
