:iagree:

Utility to me is the easy part.  Pretty is as important as anything to me.  Its got to be fun or why?

Nice knife btw.
Fun is important as well, as much as function.

I have learned in my testing, I am always looking at the function for my needs.

Spear blades as found on Canoes, the Case Tribal Lock patterns, scout knives always get a second look.  But then Stockman patterns are also very practical, why I am also attracted to Clip point blades.

Finding my purpose for a knife is my FUN!🤪 :gimme:  :woohoo:
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

@ Gareth -  this was acquired, to emulate your assortment of pen knives.

3” bolster to bolster.  Condition is almost new, a tad grime around pivots.  Covers may be pearl. Can not tell for sure.

Nice Richards LC!   :tu:

Camping today, so carried this Buck 301.

When out camping or hiking, I prefer decent quality but inexpensive and easy to replace tools.

Buck is a good choice!     :tu:
What? Enablers! Are you serrrrious? Where? I dont see any.

Perhaps not surprisingly, I grabbed one of my own Richards pen knives this afternoon.

That looks like a harder working brither to my knife. 👍

Very similar certainly.  I think mine is a little longer at 3 3/8".  Definitely has a little more "life experience" than yours.  :D

^ Yes, your’s is the same length as the Hen and Rooster I received earlier in the week.  That is the length I expected the Richards to be, but I read the listing incorrect and ignored the ruler picture

Mine I doubt even saw a bottom of a pocket or purse.  It is a shame if a knife sees no action from its owner. Should be a sun😜

Not carrying a Traditional today, as I have been home all day, since very early hours task watch over 9 yr old grandson till dad arrived home from fire duty.

Yet, did accept delivery of three packages, each containing something sharp.

I am researching the Camillus, it was sold as a 67, yet I knew from the photo the blades were wrong.

Assuming you are not talking about the Whittler.

The blades on the #67 look correct from the picture, spey, sheepsfoot and clip. To my eye the spey and sheepsfoot look to have a little wear maybe.  What are you seeing that has you questioning it?

Great looking pair by the way!  :like:
