You soddie has so much character.  The life it must have lived or the loneliness of sitting in a tool box.  So happy you have it and it's being appreciated.

So glad, you see it too!   I thought it was just me, as every time I have a choice for carry, my hand gravitates to THAT yellow Sod Buster!!!

I must give credit to Steve, as his answer to a simple question made me to look beyond the scales and the materials, but look at the story within the patina of the blade😎❤️🔥

That is where the SOUL of a knife resides I have learned.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Y'awl are carrying a whole bunch of goodness, as usual! :tu:

Yesterday I couldn't decide if I should carry the toothpick or the fish knife...so it was toothpick and fish knife. :D

I am not sure, but it may be pre-WWII (1917-1939)

Some very nice cutlery from all.  That Robeson is a gem, a survivor, and looks to be ready for work.

 And I think you're right about the vintage. I confirmed that when I got mine in hand.

:hatsoff: to awl for the kind words, and some great carries yourselves! :tu:

It's a Camillus kinda day for me. I should carry the 99 a little more than I do, but the 27 will be seeing much more pocket time.

Sweet, better take care of that rust   :tu:

Thanks! I started working on it with an eraser this morning. This is one that I don't want to lose the patina, so I am trying to be as gentle as possible.

That's part of the fun of buying vintage knives.   :D

Yes it is  :D

Some very nice cutlery from all.  That Robeson is a gem, a survivor, and looks to be ready for work.

Yes it does, though I'll probably treat it gently.
