It just seems, to me at least, this knife has a soul and luvs to used and cared for.   A vibe that other knives do not convey.

It is one reason that I do try to use awl items I purchase 😉

Certainly makes sense to me.  After a purchase, after the cleaning, then sharpening, comes the best part which for me is the thoughts of the knife being purchased new from the original owner.  I'll never know how many hands it passed thru if any, or how it came to be for sale, but I feel whomever bought it new was much like us.

The knives that come to me previously owned of which I have no knowledge of their history seem to also have a vibe.  I especially enjoy carrying them in particular.

18 is same configuration in a medium pattern and iirc, the Sheepfoot blade is narrower.
