David, great wood on your A. May👍

Today no ventures out and about today till supper to visit oldest son’s family for dinner😉

Select this model as easier to select the blades after nail damage resulting from REAL STRONG back springs on Wright & Sons models.

It is pleasant to hold as well look at.

You guys were spot on about Camillus making an incredible knife. Opens with just the right amount of resistance and no blade play. Solid build quality and looks to die for.

Did they always maintain this level of quality or are there models or years I should avoid. Need more of them in a bad way. They do make other models correct? Like Barlow or Stockman.

The paratrooper automatics were not their finest product (same goes for those manufactured by Schrade). I'm not sure if the "GI scouts" were in that boat or if they tended to be abused. Otherwise, every Camillus I've had has been of good quality. One of my favorite Camillus patterns is the 27 (an electrician's knife).

As usual, top-notch carries from awl! :tu:
