Only knives made for Stanley Hawbaker are Hawbaker Specials.
True. A knife in that pattern, but not made for Mr. Hawbaker, is known as an Improved Muskrat. (By the way, a Case Hawbaker Special with both blades dated 1978 is one of my grail knives.)
