The Copperlocks were thoroughly inspected, the Barnboard scales are both excellent. The Clip blade is Navy Blue. The Wharnie is Burnt Purple.

No gaps on back springs.  Blades centered, and bolsters are smooth at all transition points.

The StagBone, well I have not inspected it as closely yet.

I will have to get back to you.  It was lost in the USPS system for 4 days before appearing at my address.  In fact the post office hub that my mail is sorted at is still looking for it😜. Apparently I have it, but the carrier’s scan has not updated the delivery system.

At this point I am delighted, StagBone is different material and will have zigs and zags, yet all the brass points are flush on back side.  Bolsters awl appear to be HAND fitted and dimpled to blend smoothly with the Stag grooves and dimples.

Someone took some time and care.

The Stag has an April 23 date, the Barnboards are September 23.

Much better than I had hoped, 🌹🌹🌹

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

An update - The StagBone Trapper has been completely inspected.  4/11/23 build date.
F&F finish is good, small cosmetic difference on Badge side, but gives it character,
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]   Top center the edge is pale as compared to the complete scale.

I was looking for something else, and came across an old Parker powder horn.  Also an old silver Schaeffer pen.  I knew I had the knife, but had forgotten the pen.  Best wishes.  Gary (IMR)
