Lockwood Bros penknife.  The little straight edge might be a reprofiled blade but it's been made into a fantastic box opener.   :D

Some very fine cutlery on display this past couple weeks.   I feel bad that I have not visited recently.

Even though not here, traditionals are always being observed out in the wild and sometimes I capture one or eight🤪

This one was to cute to let it lay on the discount table, it’s BLUE just to tempting, and knowing it’s size would please Gareth, it  came to my house…

A half Whittler in Brnt Indig per the label.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

And my daily carry since my return stateside is my luvly CC Soddie

Even at the CASE event I receive compliments from the onsite sharpening station and the Case reps that commented on how beautiful the patina was on such a functional knife.

I even blushed from the compliments😊

Yes!

The blade and internal were completely BLACK when it arrived, no edge, a very neglect knife.

My hope was to clean the crud and restore a cutting edge.   It was your comment to covet the Carbon  Vanadium, respecting its age., and embrace the beauty of its age.

For that advice I will always respect the old steels. 😉
