Good stuff for today, y'awl! :tu:

Since today is Thanksgiving, I have a special carry. One thing I am thankful for is the multitude of fine folks on this forum. So I thought it only fitting that I carry a knife that was gifted to me by one of those fine folks.

I don't think I have seen that Lamb before, Steve, and I can't read the tang stamp. Who made the knife?

I've never seen an electrician's knife with blade and screwdriver hinged at opposite ends. Does it have a slide lock?

Yes, that is a slide lock.

$2 in 1928 equates to $37.55 today. That's a hell of a deal! :tu:

As of this writing, a Vic Super Tinker is $37.72 on the big river site.  Objectively, it’s a far more versatile and capable tool, so in that sense we have it better today than they did in 1928.

Traditional pocket knives that are handmade in the US have evolved from being primarily tools to primarily collectors’ items, and the prices for both newly manufactured pieces and older pieces in reasonable condition reflect this shift (along with some other economic realities).
