Apple break.
As a kid I would see my grandfather cut slices around the apple, until he had a rectangular core left. I picked up the habit.

Working on this old WILLIAM RODGERS SHEFFIELD 'I CUT MY WAY' today

(Image removed from quote.)
Pretty.
Love the excessive belly on those blade profiles ; )

I have an old Barlow like that. Still gets sharp, makes quick work of opening envelops.

Getting a bit frustrated with how thick the Roundhead is behind the edge. I need to get that fixed, it simply makes every cutting task more difficult than it needs to be. Or order one from the new batch which are supposed to be thinner behind the edge. I did a comparison this morning with a SAK cutting cardboard, I needed double the force, literally, to achieve the same slice.
