The best Source for handles

Grips, scales etc. for this here fine chunk o cutlery excellence would be a relevant question.

I am woefully uneducated in this matter, and searches at SwissKnifeShop produce more questions....

I don't mean to be a bother. A hard catalog of current offerings of anything and everything would be most advantageous.

If you're looking for replacement scales, eBay is probably your best bet. Just search for "Victorinox scales" and you'll find a ton of options. :tu:
May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

Cool. eBay is usually the last place I look unless I can find a trustworthy vendor on most products. Never know what you're gonna get....

ETA: found the usual toothpicks, tweezers springs etc...

Central Valley Wholesale Goods: http://stores.ebay.com/Central-Valley-Wholesale-Goods

They don't have the scales advertised, but if you email them, they will sell them to you at a very competitive price.
The right tool is the one you have on you

I usually get mine from http://www.pizzini.at/shop/

Edit: http://www.pizzini.at/shop/spare-parts/c-68_88-1.html (I have no affiliation to Pizzini except having bought stuff from them.)

I may be wrong about this, but I don't think the dual density material is what was used on the PRO HUNTER.

While the grip is excellent and the knife performs extremely well for weight and size considerations, the softer handle MIGHT wear very easily.

The Walnut is sexy, but I would prefer dark cocabolo, nickel silver crest....I'm a dreamer....

Was about to order, very reasonable prices on spare parts, but with shipping to Finland at 22 euros small orders aren't too feasible. Irritating, as I don't think there even is a scale reseller in Finland.

Central valley wholesale has a lot of scales listed if you look at the right page. I've bought from them and DM4976 before, both are good companies.
