So what's the worst cut or scar you have from a SAK or Multi?

On my left index, there is a scat that runs halfway down into the digit, between the first and second knuckle at a steep angle...

Damn boys...that hurt!!

I felt that SA PRUNER hit de bone!

It's years old now, so you'd need a HD CAMERA for it to show up!

I bet I got me a scar from most of the MAJOR production knife companies.

First was my grandfathers CASE trapper at 7!

I have never had a SAK boo boo, but I have had stitches more than once from negligent knife play.  This is what happened the last time I reached for Obi's Malasian Yum Yum fruit.  I'll never do that again.

Yeah. When I got my Rajah 2 there was an obvious space at the bottom of the blade edge above the ricasso that was VERY thick, so I spent about 2 hours correcting that.
That's one CS that even after over 30 years owning them, I STILL THINK TWICE before it closes.

Well I'm gonna try to post these w/ de iPod camera...

Top was subject of the original post...again years old, so no Rob Zombie flick...a flesh knick is a knick, but that "chank" into the bones??!! Survivorman style....

Second was tip angled across the thumb knuckle of (again) LH to the bone, bent thumb and you could see joint...never sutured.

I've had major orthopedic surgery...but it is astounding how much something that small can screw up your day if you walk on Canadian crutches!!

And it has always been the LH...sheeeesh!

The wound healed quick but the nerves took longer...they are fine movement-wise now but if I bump that spot, it's like hitting your funny bone. When I first did it, it hurt like crazy then my foot went completely numb. My doc wanted me to go to a podiatrist/surgeon but if I can walk on it, it's good enough.

Why you don't try to "plunge cut" with a slipjoint blade. Kissed by a 93mm Alox.
Pic was taken a day or two later when it had knitted together. Looked a lot worse gaping open and gushing claret.

This is probably one of the worst SAK cuts I've had. For a long time sfter it healed I had a big bump on the side of that finger but it's gradually gone back to a normal profile now.
Funny ting is that there is virtually no scar. I know where it was but I have to look real hard to see anything. even the fingerpronts line up.
