True Utility Handspan
on: September 30, 2016, 11:52:02 AM
Got this little thingy couple days ago, True Utility Handspan, a mini adjustable wrench + bit driver.

Here are the required photos: :D

I've probably said this before, but I absolutely LOVE TU's packaging, those hard plastic cases are very handy (and waterproof):

When the wrench tightened to it, the bit holder is locked in place, so it won't fall off:

The bit holder is a bit awkward, unless you use something to push the bits out (I just bashed it against my palm until the bits fell out :P ):

Comes with one Philips and one flat bit (have not yet measured, but I assume they are 4mm):

View of the bit placed in the driver hole:

Edit: Oh and forgot to add that as you can see in the photos, the caliper scales on each side are in metric and imperial units.

Probably will be somewhat handy, of course since there's no handle, the leverage will be minimal.

The tru utility boxes are pretty good. I have one of their nano flashlights. I would think that the adjustable wrench would be good to hold a bolt while you turn the nut.

I am not usually a fan of T, but that actually looks kind of neat.  I think I may have a look at it.

without the handle for the wrench, its merely a heavy caliper, maybe they should have designed a place to thread in a length of pipe, cant see getting much use/carry time from this although it looks cool.

I suppose it's let you get something a bit more than hand tight. :)

It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.
