Here they only last about a month, and when the expiration date is approaching, you can get them like these for a few cents.

I think they wash the natural outer coating off here, and so the eggs must be refrigerated.

NEW MINI CHALLENGE: Courtesy of WESCOG, "soldiers use entrenching tools quite often. How about a pic of the Soldier knife with an E-tool or other digging device?"

Challenge will be active until Monday, the 13th. Bonus points if you can actually find a good excuse to dig a hole (do some gardening, it's spring), vs just digging one to toss your knife in.
