Made a Kydex sheath for my Juice XE6
on: October 21, 2016, 09:50:35 PM
Not being satisfied with the sheath options for the Leatherman Juice XE6, especially horizontal carry, I decided to make my own from Kydex a couple days ago. Made the snap-in sheath and belt loop from a raw flat sheet of Kydex using a spare toaster oven, a heat gun, an xacto knife, and some layers of foam to press the heated Kydex around the tool. Made the belt loop with paint stir sticks and a heat gun.

It works PERFECTLY, and I love it. Man Kydex is cool stuff. I may add a rivet to increase the retention a bit, but so far no issues at all.

Good call, and nice work  :tu: I do like the little leather sheath that LM does, but the belt hook never filled me with confidence, and I was always scared of losing it
