DAY 22/30.. good salad for lunch
Day 22Today I received a package from a long way overseas. All the way from Brother Hiraethus' secret laboratory in Wales. It is the Cybertool 41 that I won in the October Minimalist challenge. I have to admit that I was so excited to open this package that I might have spotted, but just a little. This is an incredibly beautiful SAK with translucent ruby scales. Pictures do not do it justice. Brother Hiraethus said it was used, and possibly missing bits, but it appears to be complete and it is in at least as good condition as any other SAK in my possession. It is gorgeous. I can't figure the logic behind Victorinox deciding to stop selling this model in the U.S., but I've got mine. I am absolutely ecstatic.

I don't know why. Maybe it just wasn't a big seller in the U.S. where folks tend to want tactical knives. I get to go to the lab, and see the doc, every 3 months to monitor my diabetes. It's not nearly as much fun as it sounds.
