Much like me . I'm old enough to be retro or am I vintage?
Hows your 30 treating you?Mine continues to look better and better. With friends.
I've been wanting something with a Wharncliffe blade, and the K-32 looks pretty promising. While designed as a kitchen knife, it's got a carbon steel blade and a burlap micarta handle. Plus, the blades appear to be of decent thickness for general use. The price is shocking--$32--and they're available direct from GEC. No sheath though, and GEC makes nothing that fits. I suspect a sheath for a small fillet knife should work. I emailed GEC and they recommended a sheath that was long enough so that the pointy Wharnlcliffe tip would not stab through. I have a 6" fillet sheath I bought by accident for a Schrade Golden Spike, and it looks like it will fit well. (Image removed from quote.)May buy all three--as together, they cost about as much as the average GEC folder.
