I love the look of that one mate.  Home made?

It was a bent and broken wiltshire? bread knife. I just straightened it out and rounded the end.
Cheap knife but for cutting hay bales and strops etc on a farm it works really well.

Nice one, Zoidie  :salute: I used to keep an old bread knife in the engine room for emergency cutting when I had the boat. It's good to have a knife around that you are happy to cut anything with, without fear of spoiling the edge.

Exactly. Cheap, functional, easy to replace. Win.

I was discussing these blade profiles with a forum member on the phone earlier today. They tend to get the three mixed up a bit, and I said it's easy to remember which is which. If you look at the line of the spine, compared to the line of the cutting edge ...

Sheepsfoot is the Same,
Lambfoot is Lower,
Wharncliffe is Wounded (Rounded - as in welease Wodney)

I got a new sheepsfoot recently and it reminded me that I haven’t posted a pic of my current collection.

CRKT Razel, QSP Penguin, Gerber Razorfish, CRK Sebenza Insingo, Rough Rider Wharncliffe, ZT 0230, Fox Livri and Spyderco Pingo.

Mmmm, nice. I’d like to get one of those but haven’t found a handle material that I really want. Yellow delrin with CV blades would be lovely.

That Fox Livri is very eye-catching.  Love the lines of that one. :tu:

It is nice. Lovely light handle and a good blade shape. Quality was a bit off but I’ve tidied up a few rough edges and it’s much nicer now.

My latest is the Zero Tolerance. It’s actually very similar to the Fox in size and feel but a very different, more technical aesthetic.

It may have a different tang stamp but it's an A. Wright made Lambsfoot.     :tu:
