Had a little think about how many straight-edged knives I have and it turns out; not that many!

:iagree: A great photo of a beautiful knife!

Since I own a few such blades, maybe I should get 'em together for a group shot?

 :pok: Yes you should.

Steve does take some good snaps.  I always say I need to step up and darn it, I am.  My poor partner loves photography and when she sees what I post .  HAHA.

2023 I'm going to really do much better.

Great photos Steve.  I might need to track down an antler Wright knife.  :D

...
How does that Micarta feel in the hand? A lot of the Case Micarta I've seen currently on offer is described as "smooth."

:pok: Yes you should.
Okay! Here's a quick shot of a Camillus S1705. They had a few different names for it, but "utility knife" seems to have been most commonly used.

Yes, I would describe as smooth.  The box date is 07/21.  The description “Black Red Micarta Smooth Copperhead” 10240W

No texture as you would expect if a linen Micarta or other fabric layered Micarta.

I like that knife. It reminds me of a Klein 1550-11, which I used several of for electrical work:
