EDC for a ghost hunt
on: October 28, 2016, 08:50:10 PM
So this October at the fort we have been doing ghost hunts.  So what does one carry to hunt the dead:
Maglite LED
Pioneer X
K2 (picks up electromagnetic fields)
Dowsing rods
Radio
Vic Signature Lite (not in the picture but important for checking the schedule)
Ability to keep a straight face (very important)

I would think that a Victorinox Spirit would be an absolute requirement for a ghost hunt!

No voice recorder for Electronic Voice Phenomenon?  Or video camera to capture orbs?

It's a state park they frown on us collecting things taking stuff off the island.

Good point on the Spirit.  We don't use voice recorders, too many people running around to get good results.  The ghost hunting people (we have a group of paranormal people come in and us interpreters are only responsible for the rods and a k2), can bring in their own stuff mainly "spirit boxes" which scan the. AM or FM band rapidly with the idea that the spirit can pull words out the air to answer questions.  Many people bring cameras, I tried it one time and was not a fan.

In Akershus Castle in Oslo the old Norse walled up a fierce dog in an underground tunnel, so its ghost would chase away the ghosts of men.

More importantly, will you be driving a Rolls Royce Phantom or Wraith?

Actually, the best MT for Ghost(hunt) is the Wenger Bernina... you know if need to fix that linen cloth :D
Or, if the ghost is malevolent you can undo him with the seam-ripper
