Quote from: Thunderpants on November 03, 2016, 10:00:31 AMWhat's new about them?Nothing, I think. They changed the part number x.xxxx.xCCH to x.xxxx.xCN for the Spirit, but AFAICT the SwissTool hasn't changed.

They are heavy and big... I sold mine cos I figured I would never use it.The Spirit has the same tools at a fraction of the weight...I think it's more than just a weight issue. Spirit is more comfortable in pliers mode, has slightly heavier duty scissors - but with shorter snip length, a better chisel due to the side angle, and a more aggressive file.Swisstool has more file surface area, standard (wonderful) Vic scissor, and can be used as a square quite accurately. I think the saw may be thinner too, but that might be my memory playing tricks.

P.S.: I ordered my Spirit RT at the local outdoor shop (Victorinox dealer) years ago, and I "only" paid around 138 Euro for it, if I'm not mistaken.
