Yip, another two Gohard custom sheaths...
I recently got a Signal from an inmate and it did not have a sheath. Being a Signal, it is slightly longer that a standard multi, but smaller that the full size ones. What to do? I like leather and having received some Gohard sheaths before, it had to be another form him. This time I wanted it as close to natural looking leather as possible. I sent the sizes of the Signal and OHT to Gohard with a drawing of each sheath. A few chats and confirmations and the sheaths were made over a weekend.
They arrived today, and all I can say is WOW. The quality is excellent and the natural colour came out fantastically, much better than I expected. Add old style brass buckles and contrasting stitching and I have two very good looking sheaths. Both tools are predominantly black, with the OHT the BO version and they contrast very well together. It will be interesting to see how the ageing patina develops on them. I will be carrying the Signal for at least another three weeks so I can complete my Challenge. I will add some pictures then too.
