I really miss my Spirit. One of the few MTs that I could handle leaving stock. Before challenges were a thing I carried the Spirit alongside detron's fate month.
2. Vic can openers are the best, it's probably why they bought Wenger, to fit them with these.

I quite like our kitchen can opener. It's one that cuts around the side not into the top...

Also, how many women will be impressed when you whip that out at a party?
Go Twiglet Go!
Cool thread Twiglet - how are you finding EDC'ing the Spirit? Thoughts for your thoughts.........
The awl is good, but no, I have never used the Spirit's hook that I can recall, it's too far up the shank. I think it serves it purpose of keeping the awl from burying itself, but that's about it. I like the butter blade too, it performs well, but I prefer the 93mm spearpoint for all around use. Here's how my pocket divider works, I use Vic SOS kit safety pins of course! It basically holds the lower half of the tool, and I can fetch it with thumb and forefinger.

Question to see if you're a true MTo'er: Did you take your jeans off specially to take that pic?
