Nice setup! Same with mine today. Spirit + 58 mm.

Thanks!  It's a great combo of tools.

Day 1. Who could need anything more than this?  :D

I also just did a little mod to mine.

Hey, that's a cool idea... did you have to take the scissors apart?

I can't take credit for the idea, I saw it somewhere else. It was really easy, just force the scissors open past the spring then grind down the little nub (technical term). Then pop back into place and you have marginally wider opening scissors!

Day 02

The Spirit has been helping me opening bags and mail but not much else, It's an awesome tool but I'm not that keen on the scissors. I should probably have gotten the regular Spirit (S) instead of the XC but that wasn't really an alternative when finding it second hand.

Here the Spirit is pictured with a Camper I put together, the scales were glued on during the night. I had a Huntsman minus scissors laying around and a friend wanted larger blades, openers and saw to complement her Classic. And who am I not to fuel such a want, we're all enablers here, right?

Some great pictures today guys! Especially like that carry of yours hiraethus, mine is similar (light and tool) but I lack that awesome clip of yours.  :like:

This is how it stands right now, I will post the table once a day, if you guy don't mind. There's still plenty of time for you Metasyntax (at least in my timezone) so don't stress out too badly!

Very gracious of you to keep this chart for us. I know it will make Obi's job easier at the end.  Thank you!

Handling hot stuff is a great reason to carry a pliers-based tool IMO. Actually used the Spirit earlier to pull out an oven rack, but no camera nearby.
I swear I can smell that coffee right through my computer screen! :tu:

:ahhh :ahhh :ahhh Hey it's still Friday here for another couple hours! :D

Day 2

Used the butter blade to eat up a couple boxes. And boy was it hungry! Crappy pic, but the Spirit got the job done well.

May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

DAY 3/31

Used the XC to open a letter using the butter blade... Name suits the knife well as it does cut like butter...

As I don't want to risk chipping the butter blade during opening, I used the chisel/package opener/wire stripper before hand to remove a staple...
