Day 31

Happy new year guys! The Spirit helped me with releasing my favourite tie from the dry cleaners tag. It's my favourite because my girlfriend embroidered my initials on the matching handkerchief, all in silk including embroidery :like:

Some of you have requested the Spirit badge

Isn't it strange what (semi) grown men will do in order to receive a tiny, digital badge on a website?

Those who participated in this Challenge are living life to the fullest, making the most of the time, talent and treasure we have been given, and serving humanity with humility and brotherly love.

We're awesome!

Thank you Obi for another fine Challenge, and Poncho and others for your encouragement.

32/31
Against my better judgement I couldn't resist one or two more photos on this, the last day of 2016.

1) An existential signpost:

"who am I"

2) and a glimpse the mountains I've been babbling on about without actually showing.

Happy New Year everybody!

Day 31. Woohoo! I have to say I used most every tool on the Spirit regularly, the exceptions being the wood saw and the metal file/saw.

I will continue to have it with me every day but not carry it. I like having it around the house or in my bag when I am at work.

It was fun, thanks for putting this on and to everyone who participated!

Thanks buddy! :2tu:

Day 31

Is the Spirit the best multi-tool there is? Without a doubt, and yet I feel like I failed this challenge a bit. I mean, yes I carried it with me every day, but there just wasn't a lot to actually do with it. Part of that is just my life, the reason I don't belt carry a pliers multi very often. Part of it is that it's the dead of winter and I'm just watching TV from the warmth of my couch in my spare time. So I may try this challenge again in the future, when there's more stuff to do. But regardless, it has been fun to participate with you all and see all the great photos of this shiniest of shinies.

Happy new year, everyone!

May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

I did a recap through the last ten days or so since I last did a count. Everyone has been posting their pictures as they were supposed to. I haven't gone through it and checked that the pictures actually came up within the correct day in the different time zones etcetera but it seems they came up in a generally ordered fashion.  :like:

Great job guys and thanks for all the great pictures!

Yeah, same here, I took out all my SAKs in an attempt to choose something but somehow having 20 odd ones to choose from didn't make it easier...

Well done every one who stayed the course  Great challenge Obi  :salute:

I learnt that while it's an amazing and useful tool,  I don't find my Spirit that much fun to EDC without an accompanying SAK, and that UK knife laws are pants.
