The Victorinox Fireman comes close. The Fox knife has a US style gutting blade.

It's a gut hook, yes. To catch a bird, you only need a pinch of salt. Put it on the bird's tail, and you've got it.

The definition of hunting knife is vague. I used to go hunting with a SAK pruner, with the hooked blade, but I have also been with a sodbuster or a fixed blade.

People will go hunting with any knife.

Does it have to have a gutting hook/blade?

Does it have to be called one (SAK Huntsman, for example)?

Does it need to have a bone saw?  a bottle opener, a corkscrew?

does it need to have a certain "look" ?

I took some pictures of some hunting "style" folders yesterday, but did not post them as they are not specifically designed for that.

Great pictures people ! :)

IMO a hunting folder should have a gutting blade/hook. But some leniency won't do any harm.
