Ideas for EDC

Just after a bit of inspiration here.
I've just picked up a cheap Core and a Fuse - these are not tools I've had before because of the locking blades.
Obviously I could just remove the blades, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for what a knife blade could be turned into?
I thought about maybe the pickle fork like on a Flair, but I'm not convinced I'd use it.
Any thoughts?

Safety cutter. No risk, recessed cutting hedge, like in the ResQme

Maybe a electrician stripping blade? Square off the tip and make it a chisel. Like this

Hmm, the safety cutter idea is good - but I suspect difficult to do.
I definitely don't need a fish descaler - that's one of the things that annoys me about the Swiss Champ.

It has to be made into something that is usually of similar hardness. Blades will be harder and more likely to bend than, for example, a screwdriver.

A fork sounds like a good idea. Or maybe a butter knife.

It's difficult this, I've been looking at pictures on SAK Wiki, but that just demonstrates that Victorinox realised years ago that there's only so many useful things you can put on a knife - witness their "medical spatula" and "multi-purpose hook"!
I think I might just remove the blades and turn up some brass spacers - I've done this on an EDC Cruch and PSTII already.

If you are going to remove the blade you could get a SOG V cutter and replace the blade with that
To be honest I never used mine for anything after I added it

I think a package opener could be made out of the knife blade but I guess it doesn't matter much now. When you sell them I hope you use the money for something that suits you better with tools that meet your needs.
