This was my grandfathers. His son in law, my father, bought this for him in England in 1973 or so. When my grandfather died in 1977, it was passed to me.

I know little more. I suspect it was bought in a second hand shop, as I also received an Oris, with 'Kim McKay, 1963' on the back. I don’t wear it much, but I’ve just finally buckled and put a new bracelet on, because the original bracelet is too small for me.

Any information on this watch is appreciated. Thanks.

Wear it, but be gentle, the glass on that is pretty much unobtainable. Moderately rare the Conway watches as they didn’t have the wow factor of the ceramic cases at the time. So less of them remain.

It’s a good solid reliable Swiss watch from the 1970’s :tu:

Thanks for that. It gets worn rarely - it’s one of a few things from my grandfather I have. Heirloom watches can be worn anywhere within reason - as in, where you’d wear a dress watch, you can wear an heirloom which might not be a dress watch.
