Replaced the batteries in my Computron N7. Had some fun setting it (just uses one button).

All good again. Not bad for a 42 year old digital watch.  :salute:

Thanks pietervn, Wim.  :hatsoff:

Bulova’s reissued the watch but with a back lit LCD display, so not as nice as the original.

Something more traditional today...

Fun fact: IWC used a cut-down hypodermic needle for the chrono split second pivot prototype. In the production model, the seconds pivot is 9mm long and 0.5mm in diameter while the hole drilled through it is only 0.34mm in diameter. The split second hand pivot fits inside this tube. Amazing engineering.

Had been sitting in the cupboard with a flat battery, so one CR2032 later, and all happy again!

Interesting technology with touch functionality on the glass. The pressure/temp sensor is mounted inside the back cover with spring contacts that connect it to the main watch module. Small window with a plastic membrane allows atmospheric sensing. Second back locks down over the 1st cover with 4 screws and vents/air gap for the sensor.

Light and super-comfortable watch to wear (Ti). One of my watches I’d recommend without hesitation.
