Damasko DA37.

Well played, you definitely win

It's not a competition buddy, your watch just made me want to wear this one today  :tu:

Oh, I know. :tu: The momentum is definitely "inspired" by that damasko. And someday I would like to get one

Solid Gold 1976 Bulova Accuquartz with gold-adorned lizard strap. I had to wear a suit today and this watch works well with a beige suit(with blue shirt). :)

The Accuquartz is identical to an Accutron, except it uses quartz for regulating the coils.

Love the vintage of this watch.

While I really like watches its not a rabbit hole I'll likely fall into.  These two I got for a extremely cheap price.  The Wenger still need work on the crystal.  It was unreadable and now I can actually see what time it is.  The Jessop is a mechanical watch I think is super neat.  Needs a leather strap at some point.  I like it and I try to wear it often.

That is definitely a good thing. Watches are high maintenance and costly. Who knows how many more MTs I would have collected if I didn't keep feeding the watch hobby. :ahhh :D
Good job so far on the Wenger crystal.  :)Those mineral crystals are a PITA to polish. Fortunately I've only had to polish one glass crystal recently, but it was a bear to do, even with buffing machines and compounds.  :ahhh
The Jessop is cool. I haven't seen that particular brand, but anything in SS with incabloc is nice.

Interesting band there, gustophersmob. It looks like the watch should have come with it. :)

The atlas model has several strap options stock, including leather, nato style nylon, Cordura canvas style nylon, rubber and titanium. I originally got it on the Cordura canvas style and went through a few after market cotton canvas straps and a different leather style before this one. I honestly prefer cotton canvas for comfort, durability and water resistance, but I can't find a source for decent quality ones at a reasonable price (I was using ones sold by Time Factors in the UK but they stopped carrying them).

Honestly this watch is really just about perfect for me. The 38mm size works great on my small wrist, lightweight titanium and the ability to go with multiple straps. Love the lume and legibility of the dial and the 100M water resistance and screw down crown. Has a sapphire crystal option, though mine is only mineral. Also they are supposed to have phenomenal customer service, though I've not had to use it.

Still, my heart will always be with automatic or mechanical watches. So far, this is probably the closest I've found in terms of features and cost. Just can't seem to spend the money right now:

Only 37mm this one is worth looking at (different colours available).

Less expensive, pretty much bomb proof. Simple and classic.

I've got one, had it for years. I got it serviced last year, new strap and it looks like new

OH yeah, those are nice too!  I've seen some of the colors go under $50 around black Friday. Certainly nicer than an equivalently priced timex  :tu:

I'd kind of like a bracelet so I have the option in the summer, but the Seiko bracelet for that model isn't highly regarded. Though, honestly it would probably end up on a strap anyway

The Victorinox and Seiko look like great options, guys! :like:

I'd have a hard time choosing if I were in the market for another watch. But, if push came to shove, I'd probably split for the Vic, since it would pair perfectly with a SAK/SwissTool. :like:

Good heavens that's

Thankfully, I have little tiny wrists, so I can't pull off some of these bigger watches. My wallet breathes a sigh of relief.

I don't know about that, gustophersmob. Have you seen some of the photos here, including mine, where the bigger watch case lugs hang over the the wrist? In short, you can buy/wear any watch you want. Pry open the wallet and let the moths go free. :pok: :D
j/k. Watches are a slippery slop, so not buying more is probably a good thing.

Thanks guys,

It's not a great photo but it's only a 40mm watch so not that big at all

:ahhh 40mm is right at my max! I thought the DC57 was 42mm.

That full lume chrono dial is just :dd:

How can I justify this to my wife

A relatively inexpensive watch today. The seagull Chinese Air Force 1963. Allegedly a reproduction of a prototype but that has yet to be verified.

Still with the momentum atlas. I kind of forgot how much I like this watch. I've been wearing my timex weekender almost exclusively as it was a gift from my daughter for Christmas in 2016, but I had worn the momentum for a few years before that.

Just a great size for me, lightweight, robust, super legible and goes with all kinds of straps.

gustophersmob,
I know it is hard to keep up with wearing gift watches over the ones you had before. I have to remember to wear one of three different watches whenever one of the three people who gave them to me come over(or I go see them). :ahhh
